Fabric Fabric!!!

I have successfully avoided all stores, sites, and ebay, in attempt to slow down my fabric mania. My small crafting cabinet is now overflowing to the point that I can't shut the doors anymore, and I haven't been able to justify blowing our food money on pretty fabric. Until yesterday.

My friend and I drove down to Bayridge to a very small hole in the wall fabric store in hopes of finding hidden gems. I wouldn't say I found any gems, but I did find some great fallish fabrics that will soon become tunics, dresses, and maybe a tie or shirt for Lukey too. I can always find a good excuse for more grey and plaid in my wardrobe.

And my first order from Superbuzzy was awaiting me in my mailbox upon my arrival home. I frequently browse Superbuzzy's fabrics and always fill my shopping cart, but I have never actually purchased. I couldn't resist these fun novelty prints. And I needed to whip up a quick gift for Luke's friend Marshall's b-day party today.

If anything, I can make lots of these with them.

Leesh these fabrics are delightful. You are so good at finding cute fabric, which you actually had a knack for even when we were little. You and mom would spend hours perusing the isles while I attempted to fit myself back into the play pen area that was only for kids, of which I was way too old for, but I didn't care because I could only handle so much fabric. And by 'fitting myself back in' I really do mean that, since most kids were so small they had to be placed in and since I was much to old and too tall for mother to 'place' me in, I had to squeeze myself in between the bars, which there was one time I didn't quite make the squeeze. Or at least not all of me did. Part of me was in the play pen. The other part of me was not. If only I wasn't so shy. I just sat there, stuck, in between play pen and fabric. Watching the small children play around half of my stuck body as I said nothing. But really, cute fabric. The bag is A-dorable. Love the little patch.
