Am I crazy?

I really want these.  Maybe it's the color. I love how cognac mixes with greys so beautifully for fall. Or maybe it's that these are a nice alternative to the over the top heeled bootie trend this year, or that they are a cuter version of the Brooklyn clog I see everywhere. Whatever the reason, I heart them and I can see them incorporating well into my fall wardrobe. Although I am sure I will never actually get to own them. I can dream though, and I do a great job of doing that.

They are by Rachel Comey, courtesy of Impulse Seattle which has some of the best selection of my favorite and other emerging designers. Check it out if you haven't. If anything it's great for inspiration.

this is one of me all time favorite sites, and one i've been avoiding like the plague because it fills me with too much clothing lust . . .

and now i hate you because i went back to the site that i've successfully avoided for 1.5 months and am salivating and thinking of how i could justify the purchase of these shoes among about five other things. but i'll just focus on the impacticality of it all in my strawberry jam smeared life.

Sorry I haven't gotten back to you yet... I was really wanting to have a sleepover but Kyle was giving me a hard-time about being gone on Sunday (it's our Anniversary - 4 yrs!). I was trying to tell him that it was no big deal we could go out to dinner anytime to celebrate but he still was being smug about it! I know, am I bad or what... I am all for the anniversary thing but we are not some of those people who go crazy... dinner and a movie... that's our thing.

Anyhow... I guess I will spend the day with my hubby instead of shopping in NYC... I know what I am supposed to want to do but still, NYC has been calling my name (CT is so... well... CT). SO... we will have to post-pone our slumber-party slash shopping excursion until a later date. What do the next acouple of weekends look like for you?
Hope you have a fantastic weekend!!

P.S. It would be all to easy for me to justify spening the cash on the shoes... "Living within your means" -- whats that all about?! :)

Alysha you always provide new collections of clothing to lust after...Covet may also be the word. At any rate, if you are crazy, then so are the rest of us. Funny how shoes in particular do that to me. Thanks for always keeping us on the edge of fashion!
