Temperley for Less
One of my favorite things this year is the increasing popularity of designers partnering with affordable retailers offering great fashion at a low cost. I went crazy for the Gap Vogue white shirt line (I bought two of them), the Simply Vera Wang collection at Kohl's is beautiful, & I have followed the Target Go International since they debuted, and have loved almost every line so far. ( I have my favorites of course).
When Target announced the Alice Temperley collection would be hitting stores on September 16th,I knew I would be counting down the days. I have been pining over the different pieces for a month now and finally they are available. These are some of my favorites.
I want this entire outfit.
This jacket I actually saw in a magazine and quickly wrote it off as something I couldn't afford and would have to make. When I looked at the credits and saw it was Target, I squealed in delight!
How cute is this sweatery vest and blouse?
And the ruffles on this one? so cute.
I love gold buttons on pants, especially blue ones.
I really wish the Target by me wasn't a dump and these beautiful clothes wouldn't be all over the floor being run over by careless shopping carts. If only I lived in the suburbs.....and if I could somehow get Marc Jacobs and Phillip Lim to design a collection for Target how happy I would be.

Very cute clothes, I love all the ruffle-y feminine details. I may have to run down the street to my very clean, very suburban Target. (Am I making you jealous?)
I hadn't heard about the Gap/Vogue thing. I will have to check that out.
Love the vest/grey shirt combo. I'm sure you'll look great in all of it!
you are going to be soo happy when you get back to utah because i found a salvation army in west valley that target donates too. as in when the line leaves target, the whole line, with tags and all different sizes, shows up at this salvation army for about $2-5 a piece. i can have new self control at target because i just think i'll get it at the salvation! and it's in a really crappy part of town and people just don't care about libertine or paul and joe so i just get my pick of the place!!!
I want that dark blue jacket, that is very cute!
I love the sweatery (is that a word?) vest & blouse combo. I don't think I could wear it but I love it. It would look fantastic on you which would then make me think it would look fantastic on me and then make me sad when I would try it on and it would not look fantastic on me. Or maybe these really are you. I know how you like cutting off your head in pictures and I can't see the top of this person's head... are you playing tricks on us? Either way, you are right, cute stuff. But I probably wouldn't have thought so without you telling me. I don't trust my own taste. I trust you more than myself. "Lysh will this look good on me?" See this is why I follow you when we go shopping rather then go off on my own, which I know annoys you. There is no sense or purpose in me pretending like I'm going to find something by myself. You'll find something better, so I might as well sit back, or walk behind and let your fingers do the walking. Because if we let me do the shopping I come back with zip ups and converse and how many more of those do I actually need? (Don't answer that because I really do probably need a few more).
