Here it is
Posting a gigantic picture of myself is very uncomfortable...
We decided on a combination of the two haircuts. A thick blunt side-swept bang, and some layers. Not too drastic, but when both the bang and hair get a bit longer I can easily go for the Urban Outfitter girl's look, which I really love!
In other unrelated news, I am almost done with Gilmore Girls, just a few episodes left. I know I am a year behind everyone else, but I didn't get into it until November. I have watched seven years in the short span of four months. These ladies have been such a constant in my daily routine lately, I try to sneak in at least one episode in during naptime, thinking about the end is really upsetting me. But what I really don't like is the direction season 7 is going in, does it even have a happy ending?
Anyway, I will quickly need another show to wallow in after I finish this one up. Any suggestions?

you look hot!
i LOVE the way it ends. i wish that we could see the next few years. but i loved the last episode. i bawled.
sooo sexy, you could pass for my age ; )
Very hot, very now, very much a good color and cut!! Of course you're the best part of the picture but I like the background too. Did you go to Olan Mills or Sears?
You look beautiful. I love the color and the cut. Nice choice. You could definitely pass for Whit's age. Wait, how old is Whitney? I seriously want to go back to being a brunette so I can look like my gorgeous sisters, but you both do it so much better than I.
It's hard when you watch a show so consistently to let it go. And especially when the last season isn't at the top of it's game. You'll no doubt be sad by the end, but hopefully you'll enjoy it enough that you won't be bitter (that's the worst when shows end and you hate how they end it, like Dylan with Kelly? C'MON!), but perhaps bittersweet? My suggestion for your next venture, which won't last as long as Gilmore Girls, is Everwood. Granted I haven't seen it, but I always meant to, and those that did, seemed to love it.
This is long. Way way to long. I promised to keep this things short. So sorry.
YEA finally!!! I knew to look here b/c you annoucned it on Facebook :) and as far as TV shows go, Andy and I are nerds, we watch MONK. We have season 1-4 on lend from my sister. you are welcome to borrow if you want.
Oh, love it. It's really flattering. Browns are so hot right now, I'm seriously considering going darker. :D
Super cute. Love the bangs. You are gorgeous.
looks great! do you have some natural curl or do you have to get it to do that with curlers?
Fantastic haircut! :)
Very cute in real life as well as the great pic! You can pull off a multitude of cute hair styles, you do have great curl! Hmm, let me know on the tv shows. For the first time in my life we finally got cable TV, I am feeling a little overwhelmed with all the choices.
Love the color! Wish I could get my hair to do Alysha-style things.
Too funny to read this post. My husband and I started with Season 1 Episode 1 last summer and this week we are down to the last 6 episodes of the whole show. I still can't believe I never watched Gilmore Girls when it was on TV. But I totally understand about how they have been a part of our lives for so many months now -- we actually feel like we are soon to be going through a mourning period of some sort! This weekend will be the final Gilmore Girls watching for us, and I hate to admit it, but I am really sad. I feel like we'll be losing friends! :)
Cute hair!
Re: Gilmore Girls. Isn't it the best show ever? The good news is that I just read an article that the executive producers are going to be doing a new show for FOX starring Parker Posey! I was really excited to hear about that. Even if the show isn't great story-wise, I'm sure that means the writing will be fantastic. Now I just have to get my hands on a tv set before it starts...
Love the hair, love the blog, love that we have found each other in the blogging world. My friend got me hooked on Kelly McCaleb's blog and C Jane's blog so one day while linking from Kelly's to C Jane's I see a link to "Brooklyn Bean" and I think "hmm maybe that is Tony's cousin", and voila... it was. Anywho I am not sure if you have already watched Felicity but I highly recommend that, also my friend is really in to Dawson's Creek and I have been wanting to see that so you could try either of those. I want to see Gilmore Girls, I've only heard good things. Blog out!
lovely!
Wow. It's amazing and you pull it off beautifully.
looks gorgeous. i am jealous of your naturally curly hair to be able to pull of this look.
i recommend "lost" if you haven't ever seen them. they are so addicting. "scrubs" is another one that i enjoy. i have "freaks and geeks" which i watch over and over again, because it lasted such a short time. i just can't get enough of it though.
I highly recommend "24" and "LOST". The first four seasons of "24" are the best ones. I am addicted to "LOST" and have a secret crush on Matthew Fox and Henry Ian Cusick (not introduced until season 2). Although, these don't seem comparable to Gilmore Girls because they're more action-oriented. My sister-in-law loves "Smallville" (the Superman series), but I've never seen that one.
It's funny how we're all coveting the "Urban Outfitter" girl's hair. It looks great on you! I may have to do a copy cat haircut this summer... but maybe I'll try a blonde version!
you're definitely a hot mama!
you look rockin'
holy comments
LOST and Battlestar Galactica. Both are too good.
lysh, you and your darn hair. want to hand some of that curl over to me? it looks great- of course!
Alysha you are Urban Outfitters ad worthy. I think you chose the perfect style and color; kudos to your hair girl, so tricky!
And every time we finish a.d. we go into a state of mourning but here are our backups: 30 Rock (all 1.5 seasons), the British version of The Office(they did it before the US, a little more crude but much more authentic!). Good luck!
