Meet Carrie!

Carrie_2_2

She is going to kill me for doing this, I did warn her though.

Carrie and I have been friends for a long time. We met at Rick's college, roomed together at BYU, and have shared several great memories. Carrie has many talents, one of my favorites is her ability to make me and everyone else smile and laugh. She has an amazing wit and sense of humor, some of which I have been able to pick up and pass off as my own.

One of her new talents is quilt making and sewing. I am one of the lucky friends that have received one of both of these. For my birthday she made me this apron. I LOVE IT! The fabric and color combinations are perfect. I am almost afraid to use it, it might have to be for show on special
occasions!

And for Luke, she made this quilt. After I saw some of the quilts she had made, I mentioned under my breath that I wanted one, and before I knew it, I got it in the mail. Isn't it amazing?

yeah Carr,

this pic is at Craigo's pizza. Tom told me I kinda look like I'm trying to be a gansta. It was either this one or one from a few years later where I have braces. I went with this one!

Aw. That's the only way I member Carrie. And something tells me she doesn't look that much different. That really is quite the apron and quite the adorable quilt. It almost makes me want to get myself pregnant or try my hand at the kitchen to get something that cute. But we both know (I'm not sure who I mean by "we" but everyone collectively ought to know) that me getting preggers and or me finding myself in the kitchen to actually bake or cook is so never going to happen, so I will just enjoy Leeeesha's. And by enjoy, I mean look at these pictures and think "by goodness those are cute" because I'm here and Leeeesha's way over there, so I can't really enjoy them, plus as she said, they are almost too cute to use, so I'd probably just look at them even if she was here, or I was there, from a far anyway, so it wouldn't be all that different from what it is anyway. Here's to Carrie and here's to her making cute aprons and quilts and cute babies named Stella. (I threw some paper in the air, here at work, by myself, well, I'm not by myself, but I threw the paper in honor of Carrie, by myself, and in hindsight I kind of wish I had thrown it in smaller pieces rather than just a single sheet of paper, it just kind of floated down) Although I like gangsta Leeesh, I would've also liked braces Leesh.
