Pics and Stoops

For Easter we had a friend take our family picture. I am now admitting that I wanted those that had not been out to see us to think that we live on a beautiful street with lovely stoops, but sadly this is her stoop, her neighborhood, not ours.

I wouldn't typically post just a picture of us for no reason, but truthfully I am trying to figure out how to use this blogsite. I am having a hard time just uploading pictures and setting the text. But you might as well tell me which one you like better. My legs look massively long in the top pic so some cropping might be needed, and in the bottom, Tom's look equally long.
I will post a pic soon of our stoop, or lack of. I am thinking of doing a post about our apartment, before and afters. Maybe then.

I like the second photo best. The first photo is great too but it does make your legs look freakishly long so, like you mentioned, you would have to crop it and then you wouldn't be able to see your super cute shoes!
I miss my stoop.

You and your need to be truthful. I of course would let everyone believe that this was my stoop. In fact, it is my stoop, along with of course your friend who lives there and took these adorable photos. I remember when I tried selling lemonade on this stoop and the people walked by looking at me with the face of "does this woman not realize she is not 6," but that didn't stop me from trying to sell cups for a dollar. And I agree with the cropping. You wouldn't want to crop out the cute shoes. Unless you can crop but find a way to still get the shoes in. Perhaps have them just sit beside you as though they were part of the family. The adorable Bean family and Alysha's shoes. Why not? A thought to consider.

This was an absolute delite and joy - reading your blog. The photos were wonderful...all of them. I especially love the 4 generations shot, Luke in the carseat with a smile to light up Times Square, the "younger version of your Dad" it is true - seeing you together is like seeing double..although you are the cuter version! Loved "Caped Luke" and him on the Brooklyn Bridge and Grandma in her new handmade with love - Mother's Day gift.
What a beautiful family you are. I need to learn how to do this. What a fun and wonderful way to keep Loved Ones up to date. Especially since I have my own granddaughter - and soon - grandson to brag about. Love to all of you...Aunt Kimmie
